MIAMISBURG, Ohio, March 17, 2009 (3/5/09) — Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the world’s largest company solely focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics, today announced highlights of the 24th annual Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo, to be held from Sunday, October 18, through Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in Washington, DC. The conference is organized by the Teradata PARTNERS Steering Committee, comprised of Teradata customers, and is the world's largest annual data warehousing and enterprise analytics educational conference and exposition.

The conference theme is "Accelerating Insight", so all educational sessions, the exposition and the networking opportunities at the customer-driven event are designed to help attendees manage a decision-making process that is constantly increasing in velocity and dimension. The event, which is expected to attract participants from hundreds of companies around the globe in dozens of industries, will also showcase new solutions from Teradata and its alliance partners that unlock the value of data and transform it into actionable information.

Mike Koehler, president and chief executive officer of Teradata Corporation, will speak during the opening session Monday and will be followed by Don Tapscott, professor at the University of Toronto's Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, consultant and author of Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything. Conference favorite Stephen Brobst, chief technology officer of Teradata, will make multiple presentations during the conference.

The conference will feature more than 200 educational sessions. These will cover all aspects of active enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence, presented by Teradata customer business users and IT professionals, industry analysts, consultants and academics from the Teradata University Network as well as Teradata’s internal experts on the technology and business results. The Computerworld Enterprise Intelligence Awards will be presented at a special ceremony during the conference to recognize the top three companies in the following categories: Integrated View of the Business, Industry Innovation, Excellence in BI and Analytics, Performance Management, and Customer Intelligence and Management. Judged independently by Computerworld staff and leading academics, entrants are evaluated on innovation, business impact and the financial returns of their solutions.

Teradata Cares, a community outreach effort sponsored by Teradata, will be supporting its annual Bike Brigade and Math Matters programs at the conference. Volunteers from Teradata and customer companies will build bikes for local Boys and Girls Clubs, and will collect donations of school supplies for local area schools. These activities are a means for the Teradata user community to give back to the location hosting the annual educational event.
