Burlington, MA, September 17, 2004 - Dimensional Insight, Inc., today announced that Sarasota Memorial Health Care System of Sarasota, Florida, has deployed an application to increase productivity. Based on Dimensional Insight's HospitalAnalysis solution, this application uses data sourced from a Per-Se Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTI) staffing application to optimize nurse staffing, integrated with additional data for other hospital staff. This will enable, for example, nursing costs - the biggest single cost in most hospitals - to be controlled, and help to eliminate financial losses incurred in the last fiscal year.

Sarasota Memorial's choice was strongly influenced by the achievements of other Florida hospitals that use HospitalAnalysis to empower management decision-making. In the past, productivity improvements have been difficult to achieve because the information needed by management wasn't available in a timely way. For example, final productivity reports were manually compiled into a spreadsheet from 10 or more intermediate reports, plus other reports that were sent in separately by various departments. Now, the complete report is aggregated and built automatically. Further, managers are enthusiastic to use HospitalAnalysis as a tool to access and manipulate reports directly.
