Of the 200 survey participants, 37 percent save 11-29 minutes per day using Epocrates products, 25 percent save 30-60 minutes per day and nearly 5 percent save more than 60 minutes per day.

Epocrates Essentials product includes references to more than 3,500 different drugs, information on up to 30 drug interactions at a time and treatment recommendations for more than 1,200 diseases and conditions. To help physicians improve productivity, the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) and Epocrates have agreed to offer mobile technology to 14,000 ISMS members. Student and resident members will also receive substantial savings.
