LITTLE SILVER, N.J. (September 4, 2001) -- LOG-NET, Inc., an industry leader in international supply chain execution software, today announced that it has been selected by Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR), the nation’s largest $1.00 discount variety store chain, to provide online supply chain execution software. Dollar Tree will deploy version 4.0 of the LOG-NET system, including its order management, customs, and transportation applications.

Dollar Tree, which anticipates full rollout in 2002, will use LOG-NET to track all import shipments from issuance of purchase order to delivery to the company’s six regional distribution centers. In addition, the company will use LOG-NET to execute and track transload operations. "LOG-NET will add greater power to our allocation program by enabling distribution-center splits to take place closer to the point of order allocation, thus gaining further leverage in our supply chain," said John Lewis, Director of Imports for Dollar Tree.
