Segway LLC Selects Appshop as its
Oracle Application Service Provider
FREMONT, Calif. — February 11, 2002 — Appshop, Inc., the largest independent Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) Application Service Provider (ASP), today announced the successful implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite, including customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, at Segway LLC, the business founded by inventor and entrepreneur Dean Kamen to provide a solution for short-distance travel. Segway selected Appshop because of the company's in-depth knowledge and experience with regard to implementing and hosting Oracle's E-Business Suite.

Following its fixed-fee, fixed-time frame project plan, Appshop provided customization of Oracle's CRM product including iStore and Teleservice modules in less than 12 weeks.
