GeoSpatial World 2004 Focuses on Open Interoperability, Solutions and Innovation

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Nov. 4, 2003 - GeoSpatial World 2004, the annual Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC) international training and management conference, to be held May 12-14, 2004, in Miami Beach, Florida, will address the advancement of open interoperability and standards, demonstrate proven industry solutions and provide a forum for the exchange of new ideas and innovations. Sponsored by IGUC and Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions, the conference is targeted at decision makers, managers, staff, analysts, developers and users who create or use geospatial information technology in utilities, communications, commercial remote sensing and photogrammetry, location-based services, military and intelligence, national and federal government, regional and local government, and transportation markets. Presentation proposals from mapping and geospatial professionals are being accepted until November 14, 2003. Presentations should involve real-world applications of Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions' technology among the following industry solutions topics: cartographic production, earth imaging, geospatial data management, geospatial infrastructure management, geospatial intelligence, geospatial resource management, geospatial technology, land information management and mobile resource management. As a benefit of participation, all primary presenters of papers and workshops and primary organizers of panel discussions will receive complimentary registration to GeoSpatial World 2004.
