Oracle Opens AppsWorld 2004 Registration

Conference to Focus on Industry Expertise, Business Solutions and Customer Success

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Nov. 20, 2003 -- Registration is now open for Oracle(R) AppsWorld 2004, which will be held Jan. 26-29, 2004, at the San Diego Convention Center. This year, programming at the annual conference will focus on how Oracle Applications can address business issues within 13 unique industries, such as Government, High Tech Manufacturing, and Financial Services.

Due to overwhelming attendee feedback, this year's conference will also feature an expanded series of "Solution" tracks, presented during the last two days of the event. The Solution tracks -- Corporate Performance Management, Collaboration, Outsourcing, Corporate Governance, and Small and Midsize Business -- are designed to educate Oracle customers on the best solutions available to them.

Expanded Conference Program

The conference programming at AppsWorld 2004, which is significantly expanded from past years, is a reflection of its 15 years of industry-specific expertise, the maturity of Oracle products and the company's commitment to customer success.

To help attendees get the most out of Oracle AppsWorld, Oracle has also added a new concierge service, allowing conference-goers to sit down with an Oracle representative and, based on their goals for the conference, custom-tailor a schedule to ensure the greatest value.

Oracle AppsWorld offers comprehensive business training to Oracle users to help them use their existing applications at an optimum level, and exposes them to the latest business solutions, strategies and resources. Oracle DEMOgrounds, a core feature of Oracle AppsWorld, will offer hands-on experience with Oracle products and services, as well as a chance to chat with the people who develop, design and implement Oracle Applications. Additionally, the independent Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) will host a forum for users on the first day of the conference, focusing on issues such as data fragmentation, integration and incomplete business-process automation.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network and collaborate with their peers, partners and Oracle management during special events including an industry networking reception.

"Oracle's dedication to its customers extends well beyond the implementation of software," said Karen Gainey, senior director, Oracle Corporation. "Oracle AppsWorld is not only about software, training and education. The conference is about helping our customers learn from one another's successes by bringing together industry visionaries to discuss best practices."
