BELLEVUE, Wash., March 7, 2005 — Noetix® Corp., a software provider that automatically generates business intelligence content from enterprise applications, today announced that results from a nationwide market survey on enterprise business intelligence (BI) dashboard use revealed that access to 'up-to-date' or 'instant' information is rated as the top benefit associated with corporate dashboards.

According to the first of its kind market survey, conducted on behalf of Noetix by Riley Research Associates, participants also named 'one-screen information' and 'information tracking' as features from which they benefit the most. These were followed by 'problem identification' and 'financials tracking.' Riley Research Associates surveyed more than 50 top-level executives and IT managers working at businesses with revenues between $100 million and $1 billion.

Results from the market survey pointed to the fact that business intelligence dashboards are becoming a vital tool for monitoring the daily health of an organization. By consolidating key performance indicators (KPIs) into a dashboard on the desktop, executives are able to monitor and manage their business in real time.

For example, CTI Molecular Imaging Inc., a leading provider of positron emission tomography (PET) equipment, chose to implement the Noetix Dashboard because of its ability to arm them with graphical tools and rapid access to existing financial and operational performance indicators directly from their systems.

The market survey also discovered technical constraints that might limit the desire to adopt dashboard solutions. A 'lack of data warehouse or centralized data' was most frequently cited as a common concern for dashboard users, signifying that many businesses haven't developed the capacity to centralize or consolidate data and metrics.
