FinancialZ introduces new graphics-based software designed to simplify analysis and communication of financial statements

Financial Grammar(TM) Meets Market Need to Demystify Complex Fiscal Concepts

TEMPE, Ariz., March 24, 2005 -- FinancialZ, Inc., developer of financial communications software for the medical, educational, and other rapidly-growing markets, today introduced its new Financial Grammar(TM) software package. Financial Grammar (TM) is designed to simplify the analysis and communication of company fiscal statements using state-of-the-art graphical user interface technology. Unlike existing financial reporting applications, Financial Grammar builds upon the user's system to significantly improve how the data is communicated.

Financial Grammar allows the users to easily extrapolate data from their current accounting or financial systems into the Financial Grammar format, without re-entering or manually copying data. It enables executives and administrators to organize data according to significance in an easy-to-read format that can be used for presentations and meetings.

FinancialZ also introduced Financial Reader(TM), a free software package that lets users view the analysis and commentary created with Financial Grammar in a fully interactive environment.

"Financial Grammar fulfills a major market need, and is ideal for business executives, administrators, and entrepreneurs who need clear, concise, financial updates that prioritize vital data, for quick, easy analysis and communication," said Andreas Schloissnik, FinancialZ Incorporated's founder and chief executive.

Defining Data in Fundamental Dimensions

Financial Grammar(TM) defines data in terms of four basic financial dimensions -- profitability, liquidity, leverage and activity. It enables users to quickly review screens that deliver current data or historical data from any of these four dimensions. Financial Grammar is able to retrieve data from all of the popular and proven accounting programs, such as Quickbooks and others. Data from publicly trade companies can also be imported directly from Edgar-Online.

The user interface includes a graphics based analysis window, statement links to financial reports, and a note pad for annotating data while creating an analysis. Video, sound, or business intelligence files can be added to any data point or statement.

System requirements for operating Financial Grammar and Financial Reader include Intel(R) Pentium(R) processor, Microsoft(R) Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional or Home Edition, or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows Media Player 9 or higher, 128MB of RAM and up to 90MB of available hard-disk space.

Successful Track Record

Schloissnik brings a successful record of entrepreneurship to the industry. He was a founder of 3A International, Inc., a maker of high speed data analyzers that became standard test equipment for IEEE 1394 (FireWire). He was subsequently named general manager of Yokagawa America, a leading supplier of electronic test equipment, when the company acquired 3A International.

Schloissnik said his previous CEO experience convinced him that organizations required a simpler approach to understanding a company's financial obligations, assets and position at a specific time.

"As a CEO, I know how important it is to have an accurate and easily understood snapshot of financial conditions at all times, without wading through huge, undifferentiated financial files that include lots of detail and no prioritization of the data or information," he said. "Our initial customers in medical and educational fields indicate a strong interest in this kind of convenience, and they've guided our development efforts."

The co-founder and director of business development of FinancialZ is George Caramanna, a certified public accountant, who is president and founder of The Focus Group, PC, Certified Public Accountants. His practice emphasis is on business valuation services, management advisor services and taxation research. Before founding The Focus Group in 1988, Caramanna was employed by Laventhol and Horwath, CPAs. He served as tax department supervisor, with an emphasis on fiduciary and estate issues, along with partnership and corporate business and valuation issues.

Financial Grammar complies with all GAAP rules, and FinancialZ has applied for patents on the technology. Pricing begins at $29.95 per licensed copy on a monthly basis.

Based in Tempe, Arizona, FinancialZ, Inc. was founded to provide businesses and organizations the ability to easily read, analyze, and communicate financial information. For more information, please visit the company web site at www.financialzinc.com or email info@financialzinc.com.
